At Heartstrong, we take immense pride in offering services that are not only effective but also deeply personalized. All of our services are provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Our staff have extensive backgrounds in behavior analysis and are dedicated to applying evidence-based practices in order to design comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.

How We Help
Our ABA Services: Tailored Support for Every Step of your journey
1:1 Behavioral Intervention
After assessment, if determined to be clinically appropriate, 1:1 behavioral intervention can be utilized to provide support with a wide variety of needs. A BCBA will work with your child and your family to determine appropriate goals and implement them with your child. Services may provide support with communication skills, social skills, daily living skills, self-help skills and
implement behavioral strategies such as during tantrums.
Caregiver Training
At Hearstrong, we believe that parent support is instrumental in the progress of each child. Whether you have questions about your child’s behavior and would like strategies for support, or you would like to learn how to lead your own child’s services with the guidance of a BCBA, we can help with that. A BCBA can meet with your family and collaborate with you on how best to support both you and your child. We can create caregiver goals specifically designed to get you where you need to be with your families progress.
Caregiver Lead Services
At Heartstrong, we want each and every caregiver to feel comfortable using behavioral strategies even when a clinician is not present.
With Caregiver led services, a you will receive 1:1 training from a BCBA on how to run a session, and implement strategies with your loved one.
Consultation
Do you have questions regarding a behavior? Or maybe you’re curious about the next steps after recently receiving a diagnosis. At Heartstrong we provide ongoing and one time consultations so that you feel more confident whatever stage you’re at.
RBT Supervision & Training
At Heartstrong, We provide supervision and training to staff. We can train your staff on behavioral principles and strategies. Provide coaching and guidance on implementing programs, and provide initial and renewal competency assessments as required by the BACB along with ongoing monthly supervision requirements outlined by the BACB. With our RBT supervision we ensure your staff are following best practices in the field.
Assesments
Whether your child has just received a diagnosis for ASD or a related disorder. If determined to
be clinically appropriate a BCBA can work with you to create an assessment plan. A BCBA will utilize questionnaires, parent/caregiver collaboration, provider collaboration, record review, and direct observation of your child to determine the best course of action for your child and your family. Whether you decide to continue services with us in the future or receive and ABA assessment to another provider, we can help!
Respite Care
Does your child or loved one require respite care services such as behavioral respite. We’ve got you covered. We can provide, BCBA led supervision of staff, training in behavioral principles, consultation and caregiver support, to ensure your behavioral respite program stays on track.

We provide services in the following settings
We provide 1:1 behavioral intervention in home, parent and caregiver training, and parent led service in the home. Additionally We provide provider collaboration. (IEPS, OTs, SLP’s Etc).
Our goals in the community target, self help skills, community integration, and daily living skills (such as shopping or taking public transportation.
We can provide 1:1 BCBA led accompaniment to social skills group (3rd party facilitated) to target social interactions, and social skills.
Telehealth services can be used for parent and caregiver training, consultation, caregiver led sessions, consultation and RBT Supervision and training and provider collaboration. (IEPS, OTs, SLP’s Etc).
At this time we do not provide 1:1 intervention in school however we can accommodate, RBT supervision. At this time we also do NOT faciliate a social skills group.

At Heartstrong, we are proud to be a specialized ABA company that provides highly tailored services. We are passionate about providing services that families need instead of services a health insurance company may dictate, and believe in the importance of clinician discretion over profits. At this time we offer the following payment methods.

We will provide you a superbill to receive reimbursement for services (although we cannot guarantee reimbursement through insurance.)

Frequently Asked Questions
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to behavior founded by BF Skinner and Ivarr Lovaas. ABA therapy uses evidenced based interventions to support individuals with autism and related disorders. Clinicians collaborate with families to create strategies and goals to provide support with communication, self help skills, social skills, reduce challenging behaviors while reinforcing positive behavior.
A superbill is an itemized receipt that details the services provided. It is presented to your insurance provider so that you may receive reimbursement.
Heartstrong does not require a diagnosis to receive ABA services. But we reccomend you check with your insurance provider as this may affect coverage, as many insurances require a diagnosis to begin ABA services.
There is no cure for Autism, nor is ABA intended to be one. At Heartstrong we want to celebrate each individual’s difference and provide the care and support needed to thrive in any environment. We provide strategies to encourage and foster the growth of each individual and we support and celebrate what makes each individual unique.
Services are provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. All BCBA’s have completed at least
a master’s degree, have completed certified course work in behavior analysis and completed at
least 1500 supervised fieldwork hours, along with passing the national certification exam. In
most states, state licensure is required to practice as a Behavior Analyst, however licensure is
not currently required in California.

At this time we do not run or facilitate a social skills group or day program.
No, we do not provide diagnostic testing. If you have any questions or concerns regarding diagnosis of autism, we recommend you contact your health care provider.
No. Talk therapy and psychotherapy are provided by licensed clinicians. While BCBA’s and BCaBA’s provide behavioral therapy this is not the same as psychotherapy.
No we do not provide occupational therapy at this time.

Social Skills Group & Day Program Accompaniment
Does your child attend a social skills group facilitated by another ABA provider? Heartstrong can
provide accompaniment to your child’s social skills group or day program and help with the implementation
goals of provided by your ABA provider. A BCBA will collaborate with your second provider, and help your child during social skills group or their day program to help foster appropriate peer and social relationships.
