Our Statement on Neurodiversity & ABA
A message from the CEO
At Heartstrong, we welcome, embrace, and celebrate, the unique ways each mind works. Neurodiversity is not something to be fixed or hidden—it’s something to be honored and explored. We believe that every individual brings their own strengths, perspectives, and potential, and that what sets us apart is what makes us powerful.
So, what does this mean for the way we approach ABA? It means that our services are built on trust, respect, collaboration, and assent. It means we focus on support—not control—and on nurturing what makes each person who they are. Our interventions aim to build confidence and connection, not compliance or masking. And, most importantly, we prioritize engagement over expectation, joy over judgment, and individuality over imitation.
At Heartstrong, we look forward to the opportunity to walk beside you, learn from you, and celebrate who you are. We’re honored to be a part of your journey.
